Welcome to

Computers

I believe that technology is an important tool used to enhance lessons, and engage our digital natives with hands-on meaningful activities. I hope to guide and encourage students to embrace technology as a lifelong learning tool, and teach them how to be safe while doing so.

What to Expect

The vision for the New York State Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards is that every student will know how to live productively and safely in a technology-dominated world. This includes understanding the essential features of digital technologies, why and how they work, and how to communicate and create using those technologies. The concept areas include:

  • Impacts of Computing
  • Computational Thinking
  • Networks & System Design
  • Cybersecurity
  • Digital Literacy
