Meet Ms. Dowling

Welcome! My name is Ms. Dowling, and I am so excited to be your child’s third grade teacher! This is my second year at Quogue School, where I previously served as an Academic Intervention Services (AIS) teacher, providing targeted reading, writing, and math support to students across multiple grade levels. Additionally, state test examination preparation.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from SUNY Cortland and my master’s degree in Literacy Education from Touro University. I am certified in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, and Literacy Education from birth through grade 12. I am also continuing my education in Special Education as I work toward an additional certification in Students with Disabilities.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time at the beach, traveling to new places, reading, and crocheting. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family and, of course, my pets! I am an animal lover and have both dogs and cats who are a very special part of my family.

I am looking forward to an exciting year ahead and getting to know each of my students and their unique personalities, interests, and talents. I cannot wait for all of the learning, growth, and memories we will share together in third grade!
